About Nativepreneurs

Nativepreneurs is a platform designed to make it easier to discover Indigenous-owned businesses.

Created by Miguel Douglas, an entrepreneur, technologist, and member of the Puyallup Tribe of Indians, Nativepreneurs was shaped by more than a decade of hands-on programming experience and a deep understanding of how visibility creates opportunity. When Indigenous businesses are easy to find, communities grow stronger, local economies thrive, and stories are shared with accuracy and respect.

The app brings together businesses across agriculture, art, cuisine, technology, wellness, and more — all in one place. Each listing is thoughtfully presented with precise details and meaningful context, allowing people to discover and support Indigenous entrepreneurs with confidence.

Nativepreneurs exists to honor the diversity, creativity, and resilience of Indigenous communities. Its purpose is simple: to build a modern, reliable space where Indigenous businesses are seen, supported, and celebrated.

Miguel is also the creator of the TeePee iOS app and the CEO of Bella and Belle, a creative design firm focused on modern, thoughtful digital and brand experiences.
